Sergio Belza, CEO

Sergio founded ANETO Capital, a licensed external asset management and multi-family office based in Hong Kong, in 2017. After accumulating 12 years of experience as a Senior Portfolio Manager on the buy side at INVESCO, along with 10 years in banking at UBS, HSBC, and LGT across Europe and Hong Kong, he and part of his team decided to pursue independence.

He is also a full-time Associate Professor, lecturing Sustainable Finance and Portfolio Management to executive MBA programs and graduate students at various Asian universities. Additionally, he serves as a member of the Forest Stewardship Council in Switzerland and conducts doctoral research in Green Financial Instruments.

Sergio holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with specialisation in Financial Mathematics from the University of Barcelona and Mannheim, and conducted graduate studies at the Harvard Kennedy School.

Fluent in five languages and an avid motorbiker and reader, Sergio’s passion is learning. He has four children, resides in Hong Kong since 2006 and is a Spanish citizen.

Manuel Gonzalez, Responsible Officer

Prior to joining ANETO he was Chief Operating Officer at Mandarin Capital.

Manuel spent 16 years on the sell side mostly as head of operations for Fimat and Newedge (Societe Generale) in Madrid, Sydney and Hong Kong. He decided in late 2012 to move to the buy side where he headed Richmond AM Operations, and co-founded the Asset Management company Mandarin Capital in Hong Kong.

He has a BA in Business Administration from the European School of Management and a Master's Degree in Economic-Financial Management from Centro de Estudios Financieros in Spain.

Manuel has one son and his hobbies are sports and music. A frequent football player, he resides in Hong Kong since 2005 and is a Spanish Citizen.
